Cedar Waxwings visit our back yard

Yesterday was a frustrating and tiring day at work. I came home and Tom and I enjoyed sitting outside in the cool, sunny air on the back patio. We were dumbstruck by a small flock of about 12 migrating cedar waxwings. One seemed to drop out of the sky onto our little bird bath, then another and another. We got to see at close range the brown tail feathers that seem to have been dipped into yellow paint pots. And like buttons on the back of a tuxedo, they have two bright red dots farther up their backs.
Needless to say, this was dazzling to us, and the cares of the day evaporated.

Slumdog Millionaire

I did love the innocent characters in the movie. But there were so few of them.
